In accordance with state statutes, the Board shall provide transportation or maintenance, where necessary, for isolated students. Approval of such applications shall be determined by the Board.
Isolation petitions shall be reviewed on an individual basis and their acceptance or rejection shall be predicated on the distance from the school where the parent resides, hazardous conditions, safety and welfare of the child, availability of bus transportation and such other factors as may be deemed important by the Board.
Pupils transported by regularly established bus routes are not eligible for isolation unless private transportation is necessary to take them to meet a bus.
