School District 25 Policy
Adopted: April 9, 1985
Fund drives and contests are prohibited unless they are school related. Such programs must receive prior approval from the Superintendent or his/ her designee and shall not be conducted on instructional time. Principals shall coordinate such approved programs so as to avoid overlapping.
Schools and school groups will not solicit gifts, or grants, from organizations, or individuals. This policy does not prohibit the acceptance of gifts, or grants, from organizations by schools, or school groups.
No student may be required to solicit or meet any kind of quota in fund-raising activities sponsored by school organizations.
