School District 25 Policy
Adopted: September 25, 2012
Fremont County School District No. 25 does provide home/private school students the opportunity to participate in academic programs provided by the District. This opportunity is limited to grades 9-12.
The District reserves the right to limit home/private school student participation in its District academic programs based on making those academic programs first available to students attending school in the District. Also, home/private student participation shall be restricted to avoid overcrowding of classes or increase staffing.
Home/private school students participating in District academic programs shall be required to pay any related fees required of fulltime enrolled District students.
**NOTE: Wyoming Statue and Certification laws require that credits earned for graduation must be issued by a duly certified teacher and from an institution accredited by the State of Wyoming. Home/private school “credits” cannot and do not count towards earning a diploma from Riverton High School. Nothing in this policy should imply that home/private school credits now count towards earning a diploma at Riverton High School.
