Payroll Deductions (All Personnel)

Salary deductions for an individual employee shall be proportionately made for the period of time such employee is absent from work which is not counted as sick or other paid leave. Leave without prior approval may be considered a legitimate reason for a payroll deduction from the employee.

Deductions for income tax, retirement, and social security shall be made at such time and rate, and in such manner as determined by law and by legal governmental agencies. Such deductions shall be credited to the employee's account with the agencies for which the deductions were made.

Board approved deductions for organization dues, insurance, credit union, tax sheltered annuities and other such deductions may be made as requested by the individual employee.
