School District 25 Policy

Any eligible classified employee, upon retirement, resignation or termination of employment by the District shall receive sick leave buy back pay for accrued, but unused sick days, as follows:
For employees that have, or will have successfully completed five years of service as a regular employee, accrued, but unused sick leave days will be bought back at the rate of fifty dollars ($50.00) per day up to 120 accrued days.
For employees that have not completed five years of service, the buy back rate will be five dollars ($5.00) per day of accrued, but unused sick leave days.
