Wages for classified personnel are paid on the basis of verified monthly time sheets according to hourly compensation schedules adopted by the Board. If there is no salary schedule for the position, compensation shall be set by the Board.
See Board Policy # 5725 for overtime, flex or trade time guidelines.
Pay reductions for absences not covered by sick leave, holidays, or vacation, or personal leave will be made at the per hour rate of pay.
Deductions will automatically be taken for social security and state retirement, along with withholding taxes. Board approved deductions, at the request of the employee, may be taken for health insurance, credit union, tax sheltered annuities, approved voluntary offerings, and those deductions which qualify under the flexible spending plan (Section 125).
