Adopted: July 28, 1998
Classified employees may be initially employed for a training period not to exceed ninety (90) days during which time guidance to accomplish their job tasks will be given. Classified employees whose overall evaluation is positive at the end of this training period may be recommended for regular assignment at regular pay for which they qualify.
Upon action by the Superintendent, an employee may be reassigned to a probationary status or temporarily suspended from employment, without pay, for neglect of or failure to satisfactorily perform assigned duties, violation of Board policies or administrative procedure or for other reason(s) as determined by the Superintendent. Such reassignment to a probationary status and/ or temporary suspension shall be for a period of time as is determined by the Superintendent.
