School District 25 Policy

An amount approved by the Board may be paid on behalf of each full-time certified employee toward the cost of the School District's Group Major Medical Plan. If family coverage is requested, it will be the responsibility of the employee to assume the additional charges through monthly payroll deductions. No employee shall be allowed any cash remuneration in lieu of insurance coverage. An employee may not be double covered through the School District's Group Medical Plan.
The Board may provide group-term coverage in an amount of coverage determined by the Board.
The Board may provide a group income protection policy of its choice.
Employees entering into the group for the first time and employees new to the District will begin receiving coverage (if desired) on the first day of the month following enrollment into the group.
