School District 25 Policy

All certified and Licensed Professional Service Provider personnel employed by the District shall be placed under contract. Contracts shall be based on the school year and the school term established by the Board.
The Board shall consider and adopt a salary schedule(s) for the certified and Licensed Professional Service Provider staff on an annual basis. Staff shall be paid in accordance with current established schedule(s).
Except for contracts of employment for less than one (1) year, authorized compensation shall be paid in (12) twelve monthly installments on the twentieth (20) day of each month unless the said day falls on a non-school day or bank holiday; then the pay day shall be on the last school day preceding the twentieth (20) day of the month [Employees will be paid the day preceding the Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation periods.]
In the event of termination, leave of absence without pay or other events resulting in certified personnel being entitled to less than full annual salary, partial compensation shall be prorated for certified personnel on the basis of the number of days taught in relation to the number of days set out in the adopted School Calendar. Administrators in these situations, will be paid on the basis of the number of days employed in relation to the total number of contract days.
