School District 25 Policy

Corporate Sponsorship for the purposes of this document is a broadly defined term. It refers to any business, agency, organization, group or individual who wants to display any form of sign, statement, or advertising in or on the facilities of Fremont County School District No. 25, Riverton, Wyoming.
At its September 12, 2006 Regular Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees for Fremont County School District No. 25 embraced the concept of corporate sponsorship of activities provided by Fremont County School District No. 25. The Board directed the Administration to develop a policy within 45 days and to develop Emergency Rules to allow corporate sponsorship in the interim.
During this interim time period, corporate sponsorship endorsed by the District and to be conducted on District property shall be limited to signage placed at the site of the activity. This form of corporate sponsorship shall be for only those activities approved by the RHS Activities Director.
Permission for corporate sponsorship activities conducted in the name of the District shall be approved by the District's designate in advance. The District shall seek all available remedies against any business, agency, group, organization or individual conducting sponsorship of District activities in the name of the District that has not gained District approval in advance.
The following rules shall serve as a guideline to meet the FCSD#25 Board's intent to allow corporate sponsorship of activities provided by the District on a short term basis (Emergency Rules).
