Board Member Compensation And Expenses

Board Members may receive mileage to and from Board meetings at the maximum rate allowed by law for state employees.

Board Members shall be paid necessary travel expenses for performance of their duties in-state or out-of-state. Attendance at meetings of county and state school boards association are also considered board member's duties.

Board Members shall be paid actual necessary expenses or per diem, to include costs for transportation, meals, lodging, and other expenses, for in-state or out-of-state travel either in the performance of duties, and/or for attendance at meetings and conferences as authorized by the Board.
